Delete Your Hot Potato Account

You can permanently delete your Hot Potato account and associated data from within the app.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Hot Potato and sign in.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Account.
4. Select Delete Account and confirm the request.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@hotpotato.app from the address associated with your Hot Potato account. Include the words "Account deletion request" and do not send your password. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before processing the request.

Data that is deleted

Deleting your account removes your account and profile information, profile images, likes, passes, matches, conversations, and messages from our active systems.

Data that may be retained

Limited information may be retained when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backups. Any retained information is kept only for the applicable purpose and retention period.
